Joey Gardiner releases raw emotions on explosive new single 'Bloodbath'

Rising alt-rock artist Joey Gardiner returns with a visceral new single Bloodbath. Driven by pure, unfiltered emotion, Bloodbath is Gardiner’s most personal and ferocious release to date; a cathartic anthem that explores the moment when unwanted truth crashes into your world, and fury becomes impossible to contain.

“The song is close to my heart”, says Gardiner. “Bloodbath is really about finding out something you didn’t want to know. Your blood boils, and you’re left with this rage inside you. I wrote it to let out some anger I had buried, and finishing it came from real events that brought all of that to the surface. That’s why it sounds the way it does; angry, raging, honest.”

With an intensity that pulses through every line, Bloodbath captures the inner chaos of betrayal and the desperate need to process pain through sound. Yet, in the storm, there’s also vulnerability. The song’s bridge offers a striking contract; soft, almost pleading vocals that expose Gardiner’s humanity and fragility.

“In that moment I wanted to show that I’m only human,” he explains. “There’s innocence still in me, but it feels like I’m drowning in rage at times.”

A powerful fusion of emotional truth and sonic fire, Bloodbath is not just a song, it’s a release, a reckoning, and a raw scream from the heart.

“I think Bloodbath kind of explains itself with the lyrics and overall sound,” Gardiner reflects. “It’s an angry song, I was feeling very angry and as I write with a lot of emotion in my lyrics this is what came up. It’s like I just threw it all up and bang. Bloodbath is there from events that have happened.”
