JACK PANTHER

Growing up deep in the woods of Auckland, New Zealand, the now London based, alt-pop artist Jack Panther spent much of his youth with his headphones on listening to Sky Ferreira and writing angsty poetry.

2022 was a mammoth year for Panther, releasing his sophomore EP ‘why don’t you come over?’, amassing over 250,000 streams, performing a sold out headline show in August, embarking on a 3 stop debut NZ tour in Nov/Dec, taking part in APRA’s Dunedin Songhubs and making writing trips to Melbourne, Sydney and London.

The EP’s lead single SKI LIFT 001 premiered on Rolling Stone Australia, calling it 'one of the most hard-hitting songs you'll hear all year'.

Finishing off 2022 Jack released, WEEKEND AT BERNIES, a new single accompanied by an eccentric, quirky music video directed by Charlotte Evans (BENEE, Aldous Harding). Tone Deaf added Jack to their Class of 2022 'artists that have impressed us this year', adding 'Panther is a relatable songwriter, always honest and raw in presenting himself through his music'.

Live Nation NZ are in regular comms with Jack, having him open for We Three at their recent Auckland show in February and previously have put him forward to open for the likes of The 1975, Tove Lo, Fletcher, and Aurora.
